We get it, life is busy. If enrolling, or re-enrolling, in health or dental coverage has fallen further down your to-do list, it’s okay! There’s still time to enroll or change your coverage during Open Enrollment.
Here’s why choosing coverage through Access Health CT (AHCT) may be a good choice for you:
- We are the only place you can get financial help for health coverage.
- You can choose from health and dental options with a variety of coverage options, deductibles and premiums.
- You can use certain health coverage benefits, including preventative or wellness visits, without having to pay your deductible.
- We offer enrollment help online, in person and over the phone.
- You can find coverage whether you’re joining us for the first time, re-enrolling with us or replacing your Medicaid/HUSKY Health coverage.
Open Enrollment is going on now and officially ends January 15, 2026. If you want to start using your health or dental plan on January 1, 2026, you must enroll by December 15, 2025. If you wait to enroll between December 16, 2025, and January 15, 2026, your coverage will not begin until February 1, 2026.
Some people can enroll in health or dental coverage at any time of year. Contact AHCT to see if you qualify. A change in life status may also make you eligible to enroll in health or dental coverage through a Special Enrollment Period of generally 60 days. Examples of Qualifying Life Events include moving to Connecticut and certain changes to your household income or size (marriage, divorce or birth).
You can shop, compare and enroll online, by phone or in person.
Whether you have questions about your eligibility, comparing plans or want to see if you qualify for financial help, our team is ready and available to assist you. Remember, all help is free!
